VILLAGE AHÉMÉ is located on the shores of Lake Ahémé, in the heart of the African bush. Consisting of a collection of bungalows and thatched huts scattered throughout a stunning coconut grove, it combines the charm of an unspoiled natural setting amid lush vegetation with the comfort of a three-star hotel.
The warm welcome from the staff, who are locals from the village, fosters a sense of trust and facilitates cultural exchange.
Free from material concerns, thanks to efficient organization, everyone can experience Africa at their own pace: napping on the beach, walking through the villages, learning to row a pirogue with the fishermen, discovering Benin’s historical and cultural treasures, and participating in traditional festivals and ceremonies.
We have a large panoramic hall for events that can seat 70 people and accommodate even more standing guests for cocktail receptions, as well as a conference room for 100 people. We also organize boat rides on the lake, fun games, and mini soccer and basketball courts.
